Overview:
The Slkor® SL4054 is a highly integrated, linear constant-current/constant-voltage charger optimized for single-cell lithium-ion battery applications. Designed in a compact SOT-23-5 package, it is ideal for space-constrained portable devices. With minimal external components required, the SL4054 supports both USB and wall adapter power sources.

Thanks to its internal PMOSFET architecture, it eliminates the need for external blocking diodes and includes a reverse current protection circuit. Thermal regulation ensures safe operation by adjusting charge current during high ambient or power conditions.

The SL4054 provides a fixed charge voltage of 4.2V and allows external programming of the charge current up to 500mA with a single resistor. The charging process automatically terminates when the current drops to 1/10th of the programmed value. When input power is removed, it enters a low-current standby mode, reducing battery leakage to below 2µA. In shutdown mode, the supply current is reduced to just 45µA.

Additional features include current monitoring, undervoltage lockout, automatic recharge, soft-start surge current control, and dual status indicators for charge and power presence.
